Return and exchange policy
MOTIVEZAR RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
1. General Provisions
1.1 This Return and Exchange Policy (“Policy”) applies to all products purchased through MOTIVEZAR’s official website or authorised channels.
1.2 By purchasing from MOTIVEZAR, the customer (“Purchaser”) acknowledges and agrees to comply with the terms set out herein.
1.3 This Policy operates in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of the Republic of South Africa and the internal standards of MOTIVEZAR.
2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange
2.1 A Purchaser may request a return or exchange within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of delivery.
2.2 Returned products must be:
Unworn, unused, and unwashed;
In their original condition and packaging, with all tags, labels, and accessories attached; and
Free from damage, stains, or alterations.
2.3 Products marked “Final Sale”, customised, personalised, or intimate/hygiene-sensitive items (including swimwear, underwear, and earrings) are not eligible for return or exchange, unless proven defective or damaged upon arrival.
3. Procedure for Returns and Exchanges
3.1 The Purchaser must notify MOTIVEZAR of their intent to return or exchange a product by emailing katlegomelesi7@gmail.com within the eligibility period.
3.2 MOTIVEZAR shall provide a Return Authorisation and instructions for returning the item.
3.3 The Purchaser must dispatch the item within seven (7) calendar days after receiving the Return Authorisation.
3.4 Exchanges for a different size, colour, or style shall be processed by returning the original product and placing a new order. Direct swaps will not be facilitated unless expressly offered by MOTIVEZAR.
4. Inspection and Refunds
4.1 All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt.
4.2 Refunds shall be processed within seven (7) to ten (10) business days after acceptance of the return, using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed.
4.3 Original shipping or delivery fees are non-refundable, except where the return results from an error or fault attributable to MOTIVEZAR.
4.4 MOTIVEZAR reserves the right to refuse or reduce the refund amount if the returned product is not in acceptable condition.
5. Return Shipping and Costs
5.1 For change-of-mind returns, the Purchaser shall bear the return shipping costs.
5.2 In cases of defective, incorrect, or damaged goods, MOTIVEZAR shall bear the cost of return shipping.
5.3 Purchasers are responsible for securing proof of shipment and tracking details. MOTIVEZAR shall not be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit.
6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
6.1 In the event that a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, the Purchaser must notify MOTIVEZAR within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery, accompanied by photographic evidence.
6.2 Upon verification, MOTIVEZAR shall, at its discretion:
Provide a full refund; or
Replace the product with an identical or equivalent item, subject to stock availability; or
Offer store credit of equal value.
7. International and Outsourced Products
7.1 Certain products are sourced through authorised third-party suppliers, including but not limited to Bash.com, Farfetch.com, and Crocs.com.
7.2 Such products remain subject to the respective supplier’s return and warranty conditions, as may apply.
7.3 MOTIVEZAR shall assist customers in facilitating these returns but cannot be held liable for delays or limitations imposed by third-party suppliers.
7.4 The Purchaser is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees applicable to returned goods, unless otherwise stated.
8. Store Credit
8.1 Where applicable, MOTIVEZAR may issue store credit as an alternative to monetary refund.
8.2 Store credit shall remain valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issue and may be used toward any future purchase.
9. Amendments and Rights
9.1 MOTIVEZAR reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Policy without prior notice.
9.2 The version of this Policy in force at the time of the Purchaser’s order shall apply.
9.3 Nothing in this Policy shall affect the Purchaser’s statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act or applicable law.
